An array of former Pools stars are set to unite for a charity cricket match to raise funds for The Roy Simpson MBE Foundation.

Trustee Vicki will be going the extra mile (well, the extra 13.1 miles to be exact!) for the Foundation when she takes part in September’s Great North Run.

The next generation of North East cricketers are set to be given a helping hand following the formation of a new charity in memory of Roy Simpson.

A classy new pin badge featuring The Roy Simpson MBE Foundation emblem is available to purchase now for a small donation to the charity.
