Former Sunderland skipper Grant Leadbitter is to the guest speaker for a charity dinner being hosted by the Foundation in partnership with Peterlee Cricket Club.
Our next big event will fall on Thursday 2nd April at Castle Eden Golf Club when Leadbitter will share stories about his career and take questions from guests.
The popular midfielder retired from the game in 2021 having scored 18 goals in 210 appearances for The Black Cats over two spells in red and white.
Last year’s Evening with Kevin Phillips was a huge success and this Easter’s event is set to be just as busy – with only a handful of tickets remaining for sale.
Tickets are just £25 each which includes pie and peas. All funds raised on the night will be split between the Foundation and the Cricket Club.
